The Japan Association of Marine Safety (hereinafter referred to as the “Association”)
establishes the following privacy policy and strives to protect personal information.
(1)
The Association shall define the handling of personal information and ensure that its officers and employees are fully aware of this policy.
(2)
The Association shall assign a person responsible for the management of personal information and implement a management system for handling such information.
(3)
If the Association receives requests from individuals regarding disclosure, correction, cessation of use, or deletion of their personal information held by the Association, it shall promptly respond to such requests.
(4)
The Association shall not disclose or provide personal information to third parties without the prior consent of the individual concerned, except in cases required by law, etc.
(5)
The Association shall implement necessary security measures to prevent unauthorized access to personal information and to protect against its loss, alteration, or leakage.
(6)
The Association shall continually strive to improve its efforts concerning the protection of personal information.
